Nicktropolis Rooms and Areas Guide
posted 2007-12-04
*Downtown* The downtown area of Nicktropolis has 5 distinct areas. These are the Rec Center, The Aquarium, Market Street, Treasure Hunt and Metro Park. The Rec Center contains the Lounge as well as an inside and outside virtual recreation center. The Aquarium contains the Undersea Volcano, the Castle Ruins, the Lost Ship, and the Store. The Market Street area contains Decor Nation, the Seasonal Store, Wild Walls and Floors as well as Gadget Universe and Gamer HQ. The Treasure Hunt has unique prizes that kids get for free by locating artifacts around Nicktropolis for their room. The last area in Downtown, Metro Park, contains The Bridge, The Fountain, The Forest and the Softball Field. *The Pier* The pier area contains several sections as well as 2 sub-sections. The Pier has the Front Gate, Midway One and Two and the Fortune Teller and the House of Horrors. The House of Horrors has two new rooms for a vampire and a werewolf. You can no longer become a werewolf or a vampire because it finished at the end of October. The Midways contain both in game casual game play and also more robust game overlays. The Nicktropolis Space Center opened on June 28, 2007 at 3:00 PM. It lets users go to Launch Site Alpha, the Alien Planet (really a game called "Save the Flooptonians") , the Space Station and the Station Air Locks. Users voted for the space center, over two other locations titled Prehistoric Nicktropolis and Nicktropolis Underground. Out of nearly one million votes in one week, 46% voted for the new space world. Users will also be able to play the first true multiplayer Nicktropolis game look up t alen planet. *Nicktoons Boulevard* Nicktoons Boulevard is divided into 7 subsections, as described below. *Bikini Bottom* The Bikini Bottom (from SpongeBob SquarePants) area includes 7 rooms, which are the General Store, the Krusty Krab, The Reef, Conch Street, which is a portal to SpongeBob's house, Patrick's house, and Squidward's house. In the General Store, users can buy items for their rooms that are related to the show. The Krusty Krab is the restaurant that SpongeBob works in, however, there is not a chatterbot representing him. The Reef is the movie theater for Bikini Bottom. In SpongeBob's house, the user can talk to SpongeBob in his living room, which is actually a chatterbot saying things related to a user's query. In Patrick's and Squidward's house, this is the same, however, there is not a chatterbot representing the characters. *Miracle City* Miracle City (taken from the TV series El Tigre) consists of 4 rooms, which are Leone, which is Manny's school, the Riveras' living room, the General Store, and Manny's Bedroom. *Amity Park* Amity Park's zone (theme from Danny Phantom) consists of 3 rooms: Fenton Works, Casper High, and the General Store. Fenton Works is the Fenton's lab for inventing ghost hunting inventions. Casper High is, of course, Danny's school, and the General Store, as with every other one, is a store to buy items related to the show. *Avatar Nations* The Avatar Nations (as with the name, from Avatar: The Last Airbender) zone is rather large, consisting of 6 rooms. Those rooms are the Planetarium, Water Palace, Fire Tent, Air Temple, General Market, and Ba Sing Se. *Retroville* Retroville (from The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius) consists of 4 rooms, which are the Candy Bar, General Store, and Jimmy's Lab, outside and inside. *Pupununu Village* Pupununu Village's area (from Tak and the Power of Juju) is made up of Juju Bizaar, Jibula's Hut, Juju Temple, and the village itself. This section is also different, as the player picks a character, he does not create one himself. Also, this area does not have a General Store. This section is also the first to utilize the backpack tool, which is used by collecting items in the rooms, placing them in the backpack, mixing the items together to form spells, and then casting them. *Barnyard* The Barnyard's area (based on Back at the Barnyard) is made up of the Mill, Pig Pen, House of Humans, Back of the Barn, and the Feed Store. On October 5th Pranks went live in the Barnyard area. Users can go to the Feed Store. Swap Nickpoints for a buzzer, whoopie cushion, pie tin and whipped cream. After adding these items to the backpack users prank other users' cows. *The Plaza* The Plaza was launched on November 12, 2007. This area contains sponsor branded rooms. As of launch, Nintendo World is the first sponsor which contains two rooms; The DS Zone and the Wii Zone.
