Game Summary:
Building on the success of both Lego Star Wars videogames, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga enables families to play through the events of all six Star Wars movies in one videogame for the first time ever. Developer Traveller's Tales has brought the action to the Nintendo Wii, with motion-sensitive inputs that give you exciting new ways to control your Lego Star Wars characters, while also adding new characters, new levels and new features. The upgraded Character Customizer includes all Prequel Trilogy characters for the first time, while also expanding its customization options well beyond those in Lego Star Wars II, for millions more possibilities. Create cross-Trilogy mash-up characters like Han Windu and Lando Amidala. New game features include enhanced Force powers, new power-ups, and a new Challenge Mode. Levels from the original Lego Star Wars are revamped to meet the gameplay evolutions of Lego Star Wars II. ESRB Rated E10 for gamers aged 10 and up.
Game Review:

First released in 2005, Lego Star Wars is the best example of a videogame that will appeal to gamers of all ages and genres.

The original LEGO Star Wars game chronicled the first three episodes of George Lucas’ popular science-fiction trilogy from the perspective of the popular Danish building blocks. Followed by “Lego Star Wars: The Original Trilogy”, the series revolutionized pop culture forever. (Episode IV A New Hope, Episode V The Empire Strikes Back and Episode VI Return of the Jedi), LEGO Star Wars II follows the Rebel Alliance’s battle to dismantle the Galactic Empire and rebuild the galaxy. From Darth Vader’s pursuit of Princess Leia aboard her Blockade Runner to a showdown on the reconstructed Death Star.

Both Games (Lego Star Wars & Lego Star Wars: The original Trilogy) and additional new content are now available in one box as Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga.

Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga lets up to two players participate in the game at once. The second player can drop-in or drop-out at any given time during gameplay. Players are encouraged to utilize team-based tactics with a variety of multi-character parties. Prominent moments from The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith serve as the game’s backdrop for storytelling, while favorite personalities such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Jango Fett can be manipulated to advance progress.

Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga also marks the first time the game is available on the Nintendo Wii. No doubt – the motion sensing Wii-mote makes for a great Lightsaber. However, players (young and old) looking for precise Lightsaber controls based how they hold and swing the Wii – Remote will be disappointed. The characters can “only” perform 4 different pre-set attacks in addition to blocking.

Players who already played thru both Lego Star Wars games will find a good amount of new content, however we don’t feel that it is enough to justify buying the game.

For families new to Lego Star Wars – THIS IS A MUST HAVE. Period.

"Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga" is one of the best overall games for the Wii! This game combines all 6 of the Star Wars movies into one great game, using Lego blocks for the characters.

There are a lot of options and choices to customize the game, including over 160 different characters to play. The game controls are easy to master and are usable for even very young players.

This game will provide MANY hours of enjoyment and is some of the best fun we have had using the Wii!

Highly recommended!

This game is really fun! If you already have Lego Star Wars I and Lego Star Wars II on different systems, you’ll know what to expect. The difference is that you’re playing this on a Wii. If you have a Wii, you probably know what I mean.

You can use the remote as a lightsaber (but if for some reason you don’t like using the Wii remote that way, you could just press B and get the same effect).

It’s an adventurous, fun game full of many levels (including bonus levels, such as Lego City!).

I agree with those who’ve said it’s a must have!
