Six Flags Fun Park for the Wii home video game system from Nintendo retails for a suggested price of $19.99 and for a limited time each game will include a free child’s admission ticket (a $29.99 value) to any Six Flags theme park. Selected Six Flags parks will also feature the game.

Here is what Nintendo has planned for us in 2009.

Rumors are that some of the Wii Games will sell for $30 - which is probably closer to what they are worth anyway.  No offense Nintendo Fan-Boys and Girls. The long-awaited “new” Nintendo DS, which will be called Nintendo DSI will arrive in late spring. During the nebulous Spring-Summer time period to be exact.

NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams is an action adventure game set in the fictional world of Nightopia. The story follows the dream of two children, a boy and a girl, who encounter a variety of magical creatures in their dreams. We recommend the game for player’s ages 8 years and up.

The majority of the game is spent flying, which unfortunately, leaves much to be desired in regards of maneuverability. The player must follow a pre-determined path – Or in other words, the flying is completely “on rails”. Players can execute horizontal moves, dashes, loops and transform into a rocket or dolphin. Doing these maneuvers drains the player’s power gauge, which can be re-filled by flying through rings. Sega tried to change things up by offering tunnel flying, rapids rafting, and traditional platform jumping levels. (more…)
