Here are the winner of this years Game Developers Choice Awards.

The awards honor the very best games of the year and are voted by by Gamasutra.com, Game Developer Magazine and with the aid of a distinguished Advisory Committee that includes many of the world’s top game creators, and each award is decided by thousands of votes from game professionals worldwide. 

A quick note to parents: “God of War: Chains of Olympus,” winner of the Best Handheld Game award.  EA Redwood Shores’ shocking horror title, “Dead Space,” winner for Best Audio award and Game of the Year “Fallout 3″ are all rated “M” for mature - and guess what there is a reason for this rating. Think twice, know your kids and try the games yourself first - especially if they want “Dead Space” .
