Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions is tactical role-playing game. The complexity, plot and time required to successfully play the game, make it an ideal travel and vacation companion for pre-teens and teens ages.
Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions is set in a fictional kingdom called Ivalice, which has just ended its war with neighboring kingdom of Ordalia. The story follows Ramza Beoulve, a young cadet who finds himself thrust into the middle of a conflict, where two noble factions are coveting the throne of the kingdom.[3] While the war was caused by a conflict of succession, Ramza was exposed to a plot that involved the kingdom’s dominant religious organization.
Players will navigate the world of Ivalice with a roster of up to 24 playable characters, taking on plot specific battles and random battles. In typical RPG fashion, level grinding and item acquisition are the joy and pain of the game.
The PSP game also includes a Multiplayer option. In “Rendezvous” allows players to complete challenging cooperative missions. While “Meele Battle” allows players to use their units to engage in head-to-head combat against friends via the Ad Hoc Mode. Traps, special combos, and a host of other features ensure that every battle is different and challenging.
Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions stands out as one of the greatest strategy games on the PSP. Players who have played the original will find new story elements, missions, multiplayer modes and new job classes. This is simply a must have game.
