We are KidConfidence - a community dedicated to helping families and parents navigate today’s video game and media jungle. Join our community and share your knowledge and experience by becoming a featured blogger on our site - you can even link to your own blog or website.

At KidConfidence, we believe that the right video games represent an opportunity to connect with our children and help them learn in new ways. We’re a resource for parents to help sort out which games are both educational and fun for their kids, and which ones to stay away from.

Within 36 hours you will receive a Contributor Account to our WordPress Blog engine. Your Blog posts will of course link to your Member profile. Learn more about WordPress here.

We encourage our members to blog about everything – as long as it is related to video games, e-play toys and family entertainment. Our editorial staff reviews all entries before going live. When blogging please follow these 5 basic rules - the rest is up to you:

  • 1) Write for Parents and Families
  • 2) Make age recommendations (if applicable)
  • 3) Assume your readers have not played video games
  • 4) Avoid comparisons to existing games (for example: the game looks as good as Halo, but plays like Prince of Persia)
  • 5) Optional: if you choose to write a game review, you can give the game a score from 1-10, or a Buy, Maybe (Rent) or Avoid recommendation.
