Rescue Pets are small cuddly plush toys that come with access codes for the online site My-e-Pets.com
Upon first visit new “pet” owners must go thru an adoption process, which includes entering the access code, giving the pet a name and providing a parent e-mail address. After completion the virtual counterpart of the toy pet will greet your children.
Kids can now visit the MyePets.com Flea Market to “purchase” anything necessary for their private virtual online home. Or visit several locations including the MyePets Vet (to maintain health), MyePets Spa (to chill and relax) and the MyePets Arcade (for games and to earn virtual money). MyePets offers optional chatting and simple-phrased text messaging for friends who would like to communicate with each other. The site also offers a “Post office”, where kids can send E-Greeting cards to family and friends.
The retail box recommends Rescue Pets for children 4 years and up. We certainly agree as far as the plush toy goes, however the online site is best played by kid’s ages 7 years and older. Younger players may require parental assistance, especially when purchasing accessories at the Flea Market or when using chat interface.
MGA Entertainment essentially created a clone of the well-established Webkinz toy and website by Ganz. Big thumbs down for originality…Cloning aside, “MyePets” is a good site for “online world” newbie’s. However the real fun in this $10 toy is the plush pet rather then the online world.

Angel, I have had problems logging in on My E pets. We already registered, but never received the parent authorization email. We tried to log on anyway, and it keeps giving us this wierd message:

So if anyone understands this computer jibberish, or has advice let me know. Either their site is having problems, or we just wasted our money on this gift that my daughter so dearly wanted. She is 7yrs. old and deeply disappointed about not being able to get online.

We also bought a rescue pet and are getting the same error. I called the company and they said it should be fixed the first week of October. Well it’s now the second week and my 9yr old daughter bought 3 weeks ago. She has not been able to play with it online yet, and she bought it with her own money that she worked so hard for, I bought her a WebKinz…at least their site works!

At least I’m not the only one having trouble with this stupid website. Does anyone know if we are able to get a refund. My daughter paid for her puppy with her own money - I don’t think it’s fair that this company is taking our kids money.

I found this thread while having a similar server problem with the Be-Bratz.com web site. At least you guys get an email address that works. help@be-bratz.com just bounces. If every pimply faced kid with $20 can put up a functioning social networking script, you’d think MGA Entertainment could get their website working for the BILLIONS they have collected from your kid and mine.
I see a pattern developing here that leads me to one simply conclusion. Bratz has become too successful to be a good recreational alternative for our daughters. Go get yourself a webkinz.

I also have been getting the error message previously posted. I have tried to contact the company and keep getting the same message saying that they are working on fixing a problem with the site. We have had our “pet” since early Oct and my daughter is STILL not able to play with her birthday plresent! In my opinion the company ought to refund the amount paid so I can get her another Webkinz to add to her collection. Webkinz is a MUCH better company and we have not had any problems with them. (I honestly don’t like anything to do with the Bratz company to start with, and this just re-enforces my opinion.) WHAT A RIP OFF!!!

Webkinz rules! All other websites are rip-offs!!!
