As frequent visitor you probably noticed that Nintendo’s Wii dominated most of our recent posts. No – we are not a Nintendo or Nintendo Affiliate supported site (a la PSP Videos on YouTube). Yes - we do work for a (small) Videogame Review Site – which is still in its very early Beta stage. There have not been any good Family/Casual Game Releases for the Xbox360, Playstation3 or PS2 in some time now – that’s all. And you don’t need us to tell you how amazing Gears of War is, how wicked the Aliens in Lost Planet look and that Sony is in big big trouble wherever you look – we leave this to the Experts at IGN and Gamespot.
The only thing we can tell you is that you might wanna think twice when your 8 year old asks for recent hits such as Resistance: Fall of Men or Dead Rising – but you hopefully know that. “Look mom, I unlocked a chainsaw…”

Here is something you might not know – if you create an Xbox Live Gamertag and Profile for your kids on the Xbox360 using just the presets, your child will still be able to download all game demos (Lost Planet, Splinter Cell etc.) on Xbox Live Marketplace.
Double check!
Also be aware of the foul language used in Online Play. We have no problems letting our kid (7) play a T-rated game like Tony Hawk’s Project 8. But we make sure he only plays with invited friends online – not with a bunch of strangers mostly do to the inappropriate language, besides that fact that he would get his butt kicked by the insane skill-level of most online players.

Last but not least:
If you let your kids play online – on any system (PC, PS3, 360) – tell them to never give out their address or phone number!
This may seem logical to you, but your kid is probably so overwhelmed with the gaming experience itself that their brain switches into “stupid-mode”.
Tell them every time before they go online – repetition is good for the growing mind.
Anyway- we will get Fuzion Frenzy 2, Winning Eleven, Sno Cross and other Family games for different platforms soon.
