Stories…
Numerous stories have been reported in the last few month, from injured wrists to broken TV’s caused by “flying” Wii-mote’s. I think non of us can deny the fact that these stories are rather amusing to read, especially with the childish imagination of a gamer. Plus, things are always more fun when they happen to other people…

Until now… We (Thomas, Cola and our son Chase) played Wii Sports Tennis last night and as everyone knows Wii games require only a little flick of the wrist for maximum results. But… It is way more fun to “act” the games out!!! And instead of using your wrist, why not swing your arm including your entire body at the TV. And… Don’t count on your kids to stay in one spot while playing an otherwise fully motion-sensing game. We learned the hard-way. Chase (our son) comes flying across- right as I swing the Wii-mote for a Wimbledon winning Forehand. Needless to say – I hit him and in the back of the head and it hurt – bad!

Conclusion…
-Accidents do happen while playing the Wii.
-Accidents are definitely more fun when they happen to other people.

Solution…
-Talk to your kids (and your husband), especially when friends come over to play.
-Move stuff out of the way.
-Buy a house with a bigger living-room.
